Traditional Semi-Automatic Espresso Machines (ECM, La Marzocco, Rocket, etc.)
AeroPress Coffee Maker
Delter Coffee Maker
Bialetti (perfect for camping)
Filter (Adam’s from the US, so Filter is sometimes still king)

Portable Espresso through the pump action of the PicoPresso from Wacaco!!! Super cool to bring on the road.
For home grinders, we recommend Eureka Minon and the Comandante hand grinder
How do I know which coffee to buy?
Since most of your orders are roasted on demand, please indicate which method you’ll be using to prepare your coffee. If you’re unsure about which roast to choose, please just contact us. Grinding is very different for each method, so it’s important to select the right method if your beans are ground by Link Coffee Roasters.
Do you sell coffee blends?
We only roast and sell single-origin coffee beans to ensure you’re getting the purest experience intended from each harvest. This is where the excitement and variation starts and also allows you to trust you’re only getting the best beans from our suppliers.
We do sell small quantities of Robusta roasts, so you can play with blending your own beans.
How do you wash the reused containers?
We’re happy to fill your containers, but if you’d like to use ours, we use wine bottles which hold about 280g of coffee beans and are sealed with a standard wine bottle sealer. all wine bottles are efficiently washed according to food safety standards. The main challenge is getting any glue off… but since it’s about a 90% reduction in CO2 production by directly reusing a bottle than recycling it, we’re happy to invest this human energy. We’re also happy to make sure we always have a good supply of empty wine bottles ;-)
Do Adam and Marcel know how to roast coffee?
Since 2018, Adam and Marcel have continued to learn as much as possible about roasting and preparing coffee. Our motivation is to reignite excitement which is lacking in a mostly predictable world. We have tested roasting for all sorts of coffee preparation. We give a 100% guarantee. If you’re not happy with a specific coffee, we will send you a different batch, or fully refund your money.
How long is my coffee good for?
Since part of the premium you’re paying is to have freshly roasted coffee, we recommend using your whole beans within 2 months. For best results, we recommend using and resealing the beans from week 1 to week 3 after roast date. Regarding ground coffee, because the degradation is faster since there is more surface area, we recommend using ground coffee 5 days-3 weeks after the roast date. We’ve personally used our coffee up to 3 months (it’s never around longer) from roast date with great results.
My coffee doesn’t taste good
If you’re not getting good results, please let us know if the following doesn’t help make any improvements.
The grind size, even with small variations can impact the taste greatly. Try making smaller grounds if the coffee tastes weak or is extracting too quickly. Try larger grounds if you’re getting lots of coffee dust in your cup or if coffee isn’t going through your filter/basket etc.
Water can impact your results, so make sure your using clean and balanced water. Sometimes camping, it’s a bit tricky as you don’t have tons of options regarding water sources.
Always use filtered water in espresso machines…
Our coffees are sometimes pretty funky, so it could be that you don’t like the beans. In that case, we can provide a 100% refund and try to recommend beans which you’ll like a lot.
What if I don’t like dark roasts?
Please just let us know. We have many customers who like super light roasted coffee and we have some favorites we can recommend. We’ll work on getting these listed regularly on the website so it makes ordering easy.

What machine should I buy?
We have some recommendations for espresso machines. It depends on your budget, but there are some great machines starting at around CHF1000, and others we would not recommend. We always get our hands on machines we recommend, so you can trust us in this regard. Do keep in mind that if you buy a budget machine, you can’t expect amazing performance. Also save some cash for a good grinder as well. For home use we recommend anything from the Eureka Minon series and have a couple ourselves.
